At Heart and Hand Center, our mission is to empower individuals and families to live more full and free lives by providing creative and expressive therapies that are comprehensive and affordable.
Heart and Hand Center was founded in 2003 by Lead Counselor and HHC Director, Sally Hand (LCPC, ATR-BC). After years of supporting troubled teens as an ordained minister, Sally felt this role was limiting her in how and who she was able to help. Sally went on to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Registered/Board Certified Art Therapist and Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist.
Today, HHC uses art therapy, equine therapy, traditional talk-therapy, and other creative and expressive therapies to bring a client-tailored counseling experience. HHC also offers adult trauma and grief recovery weekend retreats and youth and family summer day camps at the Heart and Hand Center Ranch location.
The Heart and Hand Center is in the process of becoming a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and hoping to receive funding from those who align with our mission and vision for growth. If you would like to support the HHC in any capacity – monetary donations, suggestions for growth, or volunteer ventures– please use the contact page to get in touch with us!
We look forward to hearing from you!
