Sally Hand is a Bozeman therapist and head of The Heart and Hand Center. She believes, and has seen great effects, in using Art Therapy as a means to help people get at things that are trapped or blocked by the subconscious mind, and that are causing them pain, trauma or suffering. By using out-of-the-box therapies, Sally’s patients are able to heal through many past wounds of life and become more empowered to move past the things that they’ve struggled with and that have held them back.
With nearly 30 years experience in counseling and as a therapist, her work continues to be that of helping others to open the heart, heal from past wounds, and step forward with more confidence and power to go forward in the world. Whether it be a person of 8 or 80 years of age, Sally and The Heart and Hand Center are able to provide effective solutions to help. Some of the other therapies used are Equine Therapy, Play Therapy, as well as woodcarving and other creative and artistic modalities.
